In fact, early Geekbench tests conducted before the launch of the S24 series even suggested that the Exynos 2400 could outperform Snapdragon in some aspects. But the latest results show that Qualcomm’s brainchild is still ahead of its rival in overall performance.
A Vietnamese YouTube blogger compared the Exynos 2400-based Galaxy S24 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Galaxy S24 Ultra, testing both SoCs on AnTuTu.
While the Exynos-powered Galaxy S24 received 1.7 million points, the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24 Ultra received a slightly higher score of 1.8 million points. This represents a small difference in performance of approximately 7%.
It is worth noting that the results obtained are probably inferior to what both processors are capable of.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 had previously scored more than 2 million points in similar tests. This may be due to testing on a preliminary version of hardware with unstable software that does not allow the full potential of the chips to be revealed.
