Apple updates iMovie and Final Cut Pro with significant improvements

Apple, which renewed the iPhone operating system with important security fixes with the arrival of iOS 17.1.2, has released various updates for Final Cut Pro and iMovie. The Apple Park-based company has made several improvements to its video editing applications for Mac.

Apple software engineers also prepared macOS Sonoma 14.1.2, which includes stability improvements and bug fixes.

Apple updates powerful video editing apps for Mac
Final Cut Pro and iMovie have been updated to improve file transfers and overall performance on Macs with Apple Silicon processors. Here are the details of Final Cut Pro version 10.7 on the App Store:

- Improve editing by combining a selected group of linked clips into a single clip linked argument.
- Displays the colors of audio and video functions to quickly see the layout of the timeline.

- Use the “Show in Browser” feature to easily find a clip in the browser by keyword or selected smart collection without losing your collection.
- Export files HEVC and H.264 is faster by processing video segments across all available media engines simultaneously (requires macOS Sonoma or later and a Mac computer with an Apple M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2 Max, M2 Ultra, or M3 Max chip).
As for iMovie version 10.4, here are the technical details from the App Store for Mac:
- Export files HEVC and H.264 is faster by processing video segments across all available media engines simultaneously (requires macOS Sonoma or later and a Mac computer with an Apple M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2 Max, M2 Ultra, or M3 Max chip).
