In the letter sent by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office to the Minister of Sports, the official is asked to inform whether the decision is due or not.”“to the alleged non-compliance of Colombian authorities”.

If this is the case, the Minister “inform the reasons that led to this and the economic or other consequences can be produced for this country and Colombian athletes”.

The letter adds: All documents of the contract signed with Panama Sports were requested financial statements for the organization of sports events, the amount of expenses and whether there are money transfers for this.

The Public Ministry added that the investigation into what happened due to the cancellation of the XX Pan American Games to be held in 2027 is continuing.
