President Gustavo Petro tweeted the following from his Twitter account at around 3:23 pm: “A few minutes ago, an Army helicopter crashed while performing supply duties in Quibdó. I ordered the authorities to immediately go to the area to deal with the emergency and investigate the causes.”
According to the Colombian president, there were no survivors in the plane crash. The balance was four victims, identified as Captain Héctor Jerez, Lieutenant Julieth García, and second-in-commands Johan Orozco and Rubén Leguizamo.
