A mother traveled from Popayán to Bogotá to find out what happened to her 26-year-old son, David Stiven Mosquera, who had recently come to the capital to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor. But death interrupted his dreams.

The family was alarmed as they suddenly noticed the changes in their WhatsApp messages. He did not express himself as affectionately as he used to, nor did he answer calls.
“I didn’t know anything about him. I tried to call him. He said he couldn’t answer calls,” his mother, Esmeralda Cobos, said in dialogue with Citytv.

Ms. Cobos arrived in Bogotá and immediately sought him out at the apartment she had rented in the town of Teusaquillo. There he found her: “She was face down and naked. I think they drugged her and did a lot of things to her.”
While examining the house, he did not find any personal belongings such as cell phones, computers and music consoles anywhere.

Just before Mother’s Day, Cobos cried, “Please help me raise the truth. I know the authorities will do that and justice will be served.”
Currently, the relevant investigation is ongoing and an opinion from the Forensic Medicine is awaited to determine the cause of death of the young man. Cobos returned to Popayán to bury his son.
