Borat fans have already seen her alongside Sacha Baron Cohen in the second film, but Maria Bakalova is poised to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe given her involvement in Guardians of the Galaxy part 3
James Gunn stated about Maria Bakalova’s involvement in the film:
Okay, I guess it might come as a surprise to reveal this thing that’s been in stores for a while. Maria Bakalova is fantastic in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3.
James Gunn had stated some time ago that he had a hidden name of an interpreter who would play the part of a certain character. And now his identity has been revealed. In addition to the consolidated group of Guardians, the cast will also see new characters such as the character played by Daniela Melchior.
James Gunn stated on the film:
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be the last time we see this team together. It’s going to be a great movie, and a very dark movie, different from what people might expect. I want to be honest and true to these characters and the story, and provide the conclusion that this saga deserves. And it will be a little scary too. I will do my best.
