X-Men 97, continuation of the most popular animated series of the nineties, leaked online two villains who will appear in the first season. This was announced by Hasbro, which presented new official figures of the series. They have Goblin Queen and X-Cationerwhich will turn a group of superheroes on their heads.
The villains make their debut alongside other iconic characters such as Magneto or the fearsome Guardians. While Marvel hasn’t provided details about its involvement in the series, the toy box description reveals that writers plan to return to some classic storylines from the 1980s to the early 1990s.
“The Goblin Queen, Jean Gray’s doppelgänger who shakes the X-Men to their core, becomes their greatest enemy after Mister Sinister corrupts her mind,” says Hasbro.

X-Men 97 will be a direct continuation of the original and will become first official X-Men project for Marvel Studios. The series will be executive produced by Brad Winderbaum, Charlie Feldman and Beau de Mayo. Marvel will use the original actors and add other stars such as Jennifer Halewho gave her vote to Rogue.
