After the controversy over the end of Game of Thrones, which HBO wants to make up for with a spin-off coming out this summer, it seems like the company wants to keep shrinking George R.R.’s universe. Martin. At least that’s what they say from THRas according to media reports, the company is preparing a continuation of the series with Jon Snow as the main character.
And yes, Kit Harington will be chosen to reprise his favorite role, set after the events of the original series. Namely, It’s not a spin-off or a prequel.. This is a direct continuation of the end of the original series, using the attraction of its protagonist. It’s not very clear if only Jon Snow will be recurring, as while the end of the series sets him apart from the rest of the cast, some key characters may very well return.

In the eighth and final season Game of ThronesJon Snow learns that his real name is Aegon Targaryen, the possible heir to the Iron Throne. In the series finale, he was exiled from Westeros and traveled north of the Wall with the wildlings to leave his old life behind, just the way the series ends. A very controversial ending due to the way HBO ended eight seasons in an accelerated and somewhat chaotic manner.
Jon Snow reprises his role from Game of Thrones
A movement similar to the Disney+ movement of its Star Wars and Marvel brands, which also created its own original content with WandaVision in Marvel and more recently Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars. In the latter case, it is also a direct continuation of the events of the second trilogy.
With the arrival of the new Jon Snow series, there are now seven projects from Game of Thrones in progress, in addition to the premiere Dragon Housewhich opens August 21st. Dragon House tells the story of the civil war in House Targaryen, set approximately 200 years before the events of the original series. It’s actually part of Jon Snow’s past.
