Since its launch, Apple TV+ has been betting on becoming the standard-bearer for sci-fi. A lot of content in this genre has appeared on the platforms with great success, and that is why the company wants to continue to push for it. Constellation is Apple TV+’s next big premiere, featuring many famous faces and impeccable craftsmanship. And the trailer just came out.

The concept of “Constellation” is quite typical for this genre, but promises another twist, sorry for the redundancy, a journey back to Earth. It tells the story of Jo, an astronaut who returns to Earth after a space disaster only to find that important parts of her life have disappeared. More than just about space travel, the series promises to be one of those action films with a lot of psychological stress.

Naomi Rapace, who already has experience traveling in space (Prometheus), is responsible for bringing to life Jo, the main character of the series, which premieres on February 21 next year. The film also stars Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy and Julian Luhmann:

The series was written by Peter Harness, and Michelle McClaren, known for her work in series such as Breaking Bad and Apple’s The Morning Show, is directing the series. Unlike other streaming platforms, Constellation is scheduled to release weekly, with one episode per release day, starting February 2nd. until March 27.
