Tomorrow, June 21, the latest episode of . will be released on Disney + Obi-Wan Kenobi, the new much-discussed Star Wars series: Here are two new, rather unexpected, official character posters. We’re basically talking about Owen and Beru, Luke Skywalker’s uncles, who will likely be more than side characters in the final episode.
The story of the new series, now available on Disney+, begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sithin which Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the fall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who went to the dark side by becoming the evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
The series stars Ewan McGregor, who will reprise his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader. The cast will also be joined by Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
