The production of Strange way of lifethe 30 minute short film by Pedro Almodovarwho just chose the artists as protagonists Pedro Pascal And Ethan Hawke Shooting will begin in August and the short film will be a western. It will be a production in English.
In Strange Way of Life, interpreters Pascal and Ethan Hawke play the roles of two gunslingers named Jake and Silva. The story is set in the western town of Bitter Creek, where Silva travels to the place to visit his old friend Jake, now turned sheriff. But the meeting will be the ideal opportunity to reveal a secret related to their past.
It seems that the title of the short film was inspired by a Portuguese song by the artist Amália Rodrigues, called “Estranha Forma de Vida”. Shooting will take place in Almería, Spain, in the same location as the good, the bad and the ugly.
After working with Strange Way of Life, Pedro Almodovar will start making his new feature film, We’re Talking A Manual for Cleaning Women, starring Cate Blanchett.
