Within a few days The Paper House: Korea has already achieved great results as it ranks first among the most viewed non-English language productions on Netflix last week. The show was released on June 24 and has racked up 33.7 million viewing hours to date.

The Paper House: Korea jumped to #1 of the most-watched shows on Netflix in Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand. Taking first place among the most followed non-English productions on the platform is a testament to how Korean products are doing very well around the world. After the success of Squid Game, All Of Us Are Dead, Juvenile Justice and Business Proposal were also very popular.

The Paper House: Korea tells the story of a genius mind and his talented criminals as they attempt to carry out an ambitious heist on the Korean peninsula. When the group takes some hostages, the story is enriched with unimaginable twists and challenges. All eyes are on the origin and explanation of the title Joint Economic Area.

In this series, the Professor is played by Yoo Ji-tae. The mask used is not that of Salvador Dalì, but a traditional Korean one. The other protagonist in the series is Seon Woojin, the detective in charge of Kim Yunjin’s negotiations. And then the eight protagonists and their aliases are: Berlin (Park Hae-soo), Tokyo (Jun Jong-seo), Moscow (Lee Won-jong), Denver (Kim Ji-hun), Nairobi (Jang Yoon-ju), Rio (Lee Hyun-woo), Helsinki (Kim Ji-hoon) and Oslo (Lee Kyu-ho).
