Apple has updated the App Store policies for Southern Europe. Now they can use third-party payment systems in their applications.

The company moved the changes almost a year after South Korea passed a law allowing developers to use alternative payment systems on Android and iOS.

In accordance with the new procedure, the developers have set up a special form for accessing StoreKit. This component allows you to use third-party payment systems in iOS applications. Apple can pay for in-app purchases through four companies: KCP, Inicis, Toss, and NICE.

StoreKit can only be added to apps coming in South Korea. If the app can be downloaded in other countries, developers must submit the app file for publishing to the store: one with StoreKit for Southern Europe, two and run without StoreKit for hosting in other countries.

At the same time, applications that have the Apple payment system cannot use a different payment mechanism. This means that multiplier developers need to use some kind of system. All purchases must be stored inside applications, without going to the site.

Each month, manufacturers must report all purchases to Apple and a 26% commission on each increase. Thus, developers will be responsible for two commissions at once: Apple for using the payment system and the company through which payments are made. [The Verge]
