Shannen Dohertya popular actress who starred in some of the most famous TV series of the 1990s and 2000s, including Charmed And Feeling Alive (Beverly Hills 90210)died at the age of 53 after a long nine-year battle with breast cancer.
“It is with great sadness that I confirm the passing of Shannen Doherty. On July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease,” said a statement from Leslie Sloan, a representative for the actress. “The daughter, sister and friend were surrounded by loved ones, including her dog Bowie. The family asks for their privacy in order to help them navigate this difficult time with peace.”
