On the eve of the premiere Doctor Strange in the Madness of the Multiverse, a lot has been said about characters that could take advantage of a feature film to debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The loudest, no doubt, was the case with dead Pool. Moreover, the poster for the film allegedly depicted the anti-hero of Ryan Reynolds.

Although it wasn’t eventually carried out, an image released by Marvel (via comic) confirms that the character was supposed to appear in Doctor Strange in the Madness of the MultiverseAlthough not in the way you imagine.

The material under consideration is presented in Marvel Studios: United (Marvel Studios: Collected), a behind-the-scenes docu-series of Marvel’s recent successes in both film and television. The next chapter will obviously be devoted to Doctor Strange in the Madness of the Multiverse, which can now be enjoyed on Disney+. But what stands out about this episode is that the production company lets us see a cutscene that has several illustrations of Deadpool in the building.

However, the biggest of them not only features Deadpool, but also Cable. They both try to recreate Creation of Adana Leonardo da Vinci. You may remember this image because it was circulating the Internet a few years ago. It was part of an advertising campaign dead pool 2.

Unfortunately, Marvel doesn’t provide context for this scene. Also, without knowing how those led by Kevin Feige are planning to bring Deadpool into the MCU, the situation raises too many questions. Is Deadpool in the same universe as Doctor Strange? Or does it refer to another reality not revealed in the film…

Despite the absence of Deadpool in Doctor Strange in the Madness of the Multiverse, fan service was not on duty. We were able to see Professor Xavier, Patrick Stewart and even to Reed Richards, John Krasinski. The second was a request from fandom which, against all odds, came true.

The above, yes, does not reduce the chances that Deadpool will be integrated into the Marvel films. It’s just a matter of time. Kevin Feige has already confirmed it Dead Pool 3 it will become part of the Cinematic Universe and, more importantly, it will retain its adult rating.

“He will be rated R [para adultos] and now we are working on the script. Ryan is currently working on the script, but there will be no filming this year. Ryan is a very busy and successful actor. We have a number of projects that we have already announced and which we now need to implement, but the fact that they have begun is encouraging. He’s a very different character in the MCU and Ryan is a force of nature so it’s amazing to see him bring that character to life.”

Undoubtedly, multiverse phenomenon facilitates Deadpool’s invasion. However, it looks like Marvel wants to focus the audience on other characters before introducing Wade Wilson. Will he debut in Phase 4? We’ll find out as the years go by.
