The translator Xolo Mariduena released a message announcing the end of shooting for blue beetlethe film DC Comics which will be released in August 2023. Director Angel Manuel Soto also confirmed the news.

One of the newest additions to the Blue Beetle cast is Susan Sarandon, who joins George Lopez, Adriana Barraza, Elpidia Carrillo, Damián Alcázar, Belissa Escobedo, Bruna Marquezine and Harvey Guillén. While the leadership was entrusted to Angel Manuel Soto. Another actor joining the cast is Raoul Max Trujillo (Mayans MC) who will play the role of Carapax the Indestructible Man.

The script for the feature film was entrusted to Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, who wrote the remake of Scarface. John Rickard will act as producer. The identity of Blue Beetle has belonged to three different characters, but the film will focus on Jaime Reyes, an American teenager of Mexican descent.

Blue Beetle is scheduled for a theater release on August 18, 2023.
