What if…? has in a short time become a crossroads and joy of Marvel fans, between those who criticize its content and those who, on the other hand, found it funny, despite the connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe not yet very clear, beyond what is seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, at Comic-Con in San Diego, Marvel Studios announced plans for the future, with a short preview.

We now know that in the second season (which will restore the “lost episode” of the first) the heroes will be Hela, Captain Carter, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Black Widow and Doctor Strange, and that the series will be released on Disney + early 2023. Furthermore, a third season has already been confirmed.

The manufacturer Brad Winderbaum recently told Collider:

As you know, it takes time for an animation project to be produced. But we’re lucky enough to get the green light early enough for the second season of What if…? to be able to say that the new episodes should come out next year, in 2022.

The manufacturer also added:

It’s no coincidence that the show was released right after Loki’s release, because now the Multiverse has exploded in all sorts of directions, and what if…? it allows us to explore it.

Creating a multiverse of infinite possibilities, what if…? stars the characters most loved by fans, including Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Killmonger, Thor and many others. Directed by Bryan Andrews with AC Bradley as lead writer, the new series delivers MCU action with an unusual twist.
