The controversy is the fact that Predator: Prey the main character is a woman. Much more than that, which is able to resist the predator on its land. The discussion of this question has called into question the credibility of the argument based on this point. The script makes it clear that Naru is capable enough to deal with the Predator. And that he can do it thanks to his cunning and knowledge of the area. In the first movie predator, the character played by Arnold Schwarzenegger ends up discarding all of his weapons and using cunning to counter his enemy. That after an alien killed one by one an entire trained military commando capable of rivaling the Predator in skill. But in the end, Dutch, played by the actor, realizes that only You will be able to defeat a creature with intelligence, strategy and good sense.
The same goes for the cop played by Danny Glover. predator 2who must wield his conventional weapons against the much more sophisticated Yautja. But, in the end, he realizes that this is not about hand-to-hand combat, but about discovering the strengths and weaknesses of his enemy. So much so that when he finally kills the hunter, the character receives a reward from the rest of the Predators who accompany the first.
But with female characters, the caveat is even more obvious. A good example is Sana Lathan’s Alexa Woods Alien vs. predator. The character manages to earn the hunter’s respect and become his second-in-command while both try to escape from hundreds of aliens. He does this by displaying his brashness and courage, a plot twist similar to several used in the comics on which he is based. In any situation, the women of the franchise are able to perceive the alien as an enemy that needs to be defeated, and not as an unstoppable creature.

Anna Gonsalves, predator
The character, played by actress Elpidia Carrillo, is the sole survivor along with Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) in predator (1987). As the entire squad that took her hostage died at the hands of the Yautja, Anna realized that this was not just a cruel enemy, but an enemy with a strategy.
As a member of a guerrilla group, the character was able to identify and understand the creature’s behavior on an accurate level. In particular, finding that Predator could bleed this meant that this creature was prone to injury. It is Anna, along with Dutch, who helps build the trap. And he’s the first character to talk about the creature as part of the mythology that predates the movie’s plot.
And although he did not face the hunter head-on, Anna coped with his attack and survived. As much as having a small cameo in a sequel, as the visible face of an inexplicable situation supported by a mystery.
Leona Cantrell, in predator 2
Actress Maria Conchita Alonso played an employee of the Los Angeles Police Department. And while it can’t be said that he faced the Predator directly, he did have a head-on encounter in which he survived. Cantrell did not retreat, but instead fired and grappled with the fleeing predator until it caught her. In the end, the agent survived when her opponent noticed that she was pregnant, which caused her to exclude her from the opponents.
In the story novel, written by John Thomas and Paul Monette and published in 1987, Cantrell’s strategic abilities are more apparent. Indeed, it becomes clear that the character is trying to track down the Predator, trying to delve deeper into his behavior.
