The Genetic Center for Genetics and Reproductive Medicine announced plans to conduct an IPO (first public offering) on ​​the Moscow Stock Exchange.

Genetico intends to list 12% of its capital, or 10 million shares, on the stock market. The Board of Directors will set the price and placement date in the near future, the company said in a statement.

Genetico plans to use the funds raised during the IPO to develop domestic genetic services, enter foreign markets and create new medicines.

Genetic Medical Center is a resident of Skolkovo and a subsidiary of the Institute of Human Stem Cells. Genetico’s IPO will be the first of ten IPOs planned for 2023 on the Moscow Stock Exchange.
