After the release of the Barbie Ferreira series was announced, it was announced via Production Weekly that the shooting of Euphoria 3 will begin in February 2023. Work on the set will begin a year after the second season finale.
Regarding the release of the Barbie Ferreira project, this is her message to the fans with whom she communicated the discontinuation of Euphoria:
After four years of playing the special and enigmatic character of Kat, I have to announce a sad goodbye. I hope many of you have been able to identify with her as I have, and rejoice in what the character has become. I put all my love and joy on her, and I hope you can feel her. I love you Katherine Hernandez.
The series follows Rue Bennett (Zendaya), a 17-year-old with drug problems who tries to keep herself clean in high school. Rue’s journey leads her to try to understand her future, and her life changes drastically when she meets Jules Vaughn (Schafer), a girl who will lead her into a maelstrom of drugs, sex, love and friendship.
Euphoria is NOW available in Italy.
