CinemaCon 2022 stirred up cinematic momentum after Disney made several announcements about its upcoming films and series. Perhaps most striking is the news about Avatar 2which already has a name Avatar: The Tuemountain water and trailer release date. Not everything stays there: The Marvel Cinematic Universe has also been generating news since Kevin Feige.
According to information from Hollywood Reporterthose present at the event were able to see the first images Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness and from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, two key films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. First, for its impact on storytelling across different realities, and second, for its implicit value in terms of diversity and integration in global storytelling.
As if these advances weren’t enough, and given that Thor: Love and Thunder also coming this year Kevin Fig, the creative director of Marvel Studios, went a little further. Three years prior to this release, Marvel had already been preparing and conceptualizing various projects. There were doubts about characters like Spider-Man that they didn’t have the rights to; but a few core Avengers were available. There was an opportunity to build a story.
Fourteen years after this release, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become one of the most influential and captivating narratives in pop culture for viewers. As the years go by expectations for premieres are rising along with the storytelling, which still needs more maturity, taking steps to this floor and adding different recognized actors to different projects. This includes both movie-destined content and the various included Marvel series.
