Silent Hill: Ascension was officially announced with a trailer tonight at the Konami event dedicated to the future of the Silent Hill series. This is a new one interactive series created by Bad Robot Games and Genvid which transports the Silent Hill franchise to “a new universe”.
The series in streaming, available soon in 2023 and directed by JJ Abramsallows fans around the world to “shaping the canon of Silent Hill“Thanks to their choices. In the live series, users work together to develop a terrifying story, choosing the outcome or course of action. However, the choices will lead to irreversible consequences.
Silent Hill: Ascension has been confirmed to be coming to multiple platforms, but no further details are known at this time. Silent Hill: Ascension represents one of Konami’s efforts to expanding the Silent Hill universe beyond video games: in addition to Ascension, there is also a third live-action feature film titled Return to Silent Hill.
