Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law introducing turnover fines for foreign IT companies.
For failure to comply with landing laws (approx. the company must open a branch in Russia, an authorized legal representation) introduces a fine of 20% of the reward received in the country.
In addition, a fine is introduced for violating the security of operators accessing Internet traffic through means of countering security threats – up to 5 million rubles. The maximum fines for refusing to install such funds are increasing from 1 million to 5 million rubles.
For refusal to comply with the order of Roskomnadzor to restrict or restore access to content, a fine of up to 4 million rubles will be issued.
