The story, of course, takes place after the movie trilogy, and Scott Calvin realizes that he is now 65 and therefore cannot remain Santa Claus forever. We’ll find out in the series, which we assume will logically be ready in time for the upcoming holiday season.
Tim Allen won a People’s Choice Award for his performance in the 1994 film Santa Clause in which he plays Scott Calvin, Santa’s replacement, complete with an oversized waist, rosy cheeks and a snow-white mustache. The actor then returned to play the iconic role in two sequels, both hugely popular films, What Happened to Santa Clause? of 2002 and Santa Claus is in trouble from 2006.
