If we talk about the saga of Halloween, the names of the filmmakers most closely associated are three: John Carpenter, Rob Zombie, and David Gordon Green. The latter made the latest trilogy about Michael Myers’ character, but before that, the franchise was revived by Rob Zombie. However, the filmmaker recently stated that he has not seen the new trilogy.

In a funny Facebook post where he showed images with many opinion bubbles of fans that changed over the years, wanting Rob Zombie first as the author who ruined the Halloween saga and later as a savior, the director stated:

I have no ideas about the new movies, and only because I haven’t seen them yet. My experiences with the movies I work on are so crazy that I get exhausted on Halloween. Sad but true.

Recall that Rob Zombie just finished working on the movie about The Munsters, the cult comedy horror show from the 1960s. Although they are his films of the Halloween saga, they are two full-length films released between 2007 and 2009.

Halloween Ends hits theaters October 14.
