If, years later, the Exploding Kitts card game is still popular in your company, then netflix has great news for you. The streaming service will release an “exclusive” version of the mobile game Exploding Kittens, as well as cartoons. The adult show will be produced by the creators of Slan Lee, Matthew Inman and Mike Judge. Significant personalities will take part, including Lucy Liu (Kill Bill) and Tom Eluris (YiL).
The series revolves around a holy war in which the devil visits the earth in the form of muscular domestic cats. Netflix is promising a 2023 release, but the remastered game should launch as early as May 2022 with new maps and hints of future gameplay based on the show.
Netflix develops that this is the case when they launch the first game and series under the same franchise (Stranger Things doesn’t count, apparently). And while the game wasn’t built from scratch, the company has hinted that they want to use this representative in the future – so don’t be surprised if more games and series appear in tandem.
