For the disappearance of Chadwick Boseman a sequel to Black Panther was already in the works, and the director Ryan Coogler he recently described what was behind that story. According to Coogler, the tone of the film would not differ much from that of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Here are Coogler’s words:

The tone change of the original story was less than that of the casting as it was a similar tone. T’Challa would have felt the pain of time elapsed, given her five-year absence. For a man like him, with that sense of responsibility, the return after five years of forced absence was something strong. And that was the whole point of the movie. To face the pain for the time that could not go back. Pain was a big part of the sequel.

And the sign of pain will also be Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In the movie Marvel Studios Black, in Italian cinemas from November 9th, Regina Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) , they struggle to protect their country from advancing world powers after the death of King T’Challa. As the Wakandans try to make sense of the next chapter of their story, the heroes must come together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path to the kingdom of the Wakanda. The film stars Tenoch Huerta in the role of Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, and is also played by Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli.
