The role of John Rambo is one of the most iconic associated with the figure of Sylvester Stallone, and the same actor recently talked about the possibility of making a TV series about the character. The project would consist of a series about the young version of Rambo.

Here are Sylvester Stallone’s words about it:

I think it’s okay. I’d like to pretend it’s a Ken Burns documentary about Vietnam, where you see young Rambo go from being the captain of the soccer team to the character we all know. But what they want is a more contemporary story in which I pass the baton.

Stallone’s original idea would be intriguing, and we’ll see if the popular actor or the production wins. Some time ago, the actor had already talked about a prequel project. Here are his statements about his concept of the young Rambo:

is the best person you can find. He was a team captain, the hottest kid in school, a super athlete. He looked like Jim Thorpe, but the war changed him. If you could see what he used to be like, he looked like the perfect man.

The latest feature film about Rambo is The Last Blood, which came out in 2019.
