Netflix today released the official trailer for Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toroan extravagant stop-motion retelling of the classic story, from December 4 in select cinemas and from December 9 on Netflix: we also show you the new poster and two unpublished photos.



Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro reinvents Carlo Collodi’s great classic, dedicated to the wooden puppet that magically comes to life to warm the heart of Geppetto, a mourner. Directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson, this playful stop-motion film follows the reckless and unruly adventures of Pinocchio as he searches for his place in the world.
Directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson, the film features an all-star voice cast that includes Ewan McGregor as Jiminy Cricket, David Bradley as Geppetto, while newcomer Gregory Mann lends the voice of Pinocchio. The original language voice cast also includes Finn Wolfhard, Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, along with Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz and Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton.
