Musk launched into a scathing and sarcastic attack on Boeing CEO David Calhoun, accusing him of not having an engineering education. Calhoun is an accountant by training and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia Tech.

According to Musk, it makes sense that the CEO of an aircraft company “knows how to design planes, not spreadsheets.” Musk also said that Boeing, once a leading company, had “broken away from its engineering roots.”
