News of the platform’s intention to hire Greta Gerwig was spread via the What’s on Netflix website, which also spoke of a desire to make the first two films of the reboot with Gerwig directing.

If the agreement between the director and Netflix comes through, the Narnia project will not be developed for the foreseeable future, as Gerwig is also working on Barbie and also working on writing the live-action Snow White movie, slated for release. appearing in cinemas in 2024.
