Netflix has already launched the first teaser trailer for Cobra Kai 5, revealing the release date of the new episodes of the TV series expanding the universe of the Karate Kid saga. Cobra Kai’s fifth season will debut on the streaming platform on September 9.

In the video, we see Terry Silver taking control of Cobra Kai to expand into new areas of the territory. The challenges will increase in this fifth season and Daniel will join Chozen just to forge an alliance against Silver.
At the Producers Guild Awards (PGA), the show’s creators, Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg, spoke about the conclusion of the fourth season and the introduction of the fifth:
Before Season 4, we all knew we were headed in the direction of the tournament, while for Season 5, no one knows where we’re going. Apart from us, who have already made it! There are many crazy things. If you’re a fan of the franchise, you may or may not find some familiar faces. There will be… a lot of karate!

The villains won in Season 4, so there will be a huge bill to pay, that of revenge. There are many people kicking and hitting each other, but the story will take a new direction that is impossible to predict.
