LAPD Homicide Detective Harry Bosch is a fictional character in Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels. Bosch has become a hugely popular series on Amazon Prime starring Titus Welliver, who is back again (he’s known for other shows like Deadwood and The Good Wife).
The seventh and final season premiered last June. The new series is based on The Wrong Side of Goodbye, one of Connelly’s books, which shares the title of the first episode of the first season. Bosch: Legacy continues the story as Bosch retires from the police, but not from crime investigation, as he will become a private detective.
Spoilers aside, but to whet your appetite, Maddie is about to follow in her father’s footsteps and join the LAPD as a rookie, only to discover a dark secret. Like its predecessor, this is already one of the best cop series on Amazon Prime Video.
One of Bosch’s first tasks will be to search for the missing heir of a millionaire after a mysterious death. With this as a basis, he will have to face great public figures who will not make life easier for our protagonist.
Madison Linz will reprise her role as Harry’s daughter, Maddie, opposite Bosch’s longtime adversary, defense lawyer Honey Chandler.
complete the cast Stephen A. Chang as Maurice “Mo” Bussy and Denise G. Sanchez as Reyna Vasquez, as well as Phil Morris, Stephen Flynn, Michael Rose, Kate Burton, Mark Rolston, Candice Edmundson and William Devane.
The premiere of the first four episodes of Bosch: Legacy will take place today, Friday, May 6th.
