Ever since Disney+ got into the streaming wars, the company has announced and released a large number of original series and movies. Of these, the most important are perhaps the two most famous universes: Marvel and Star Wars. Although there is less Star Wars content, there are already several from Marvel that debuted exclusively on Disney+, all of them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But what is the most successful Marvel series on Disney+? Well, according to Kevin Feige, of all the franchise episodes that have been released on the streaming platform Disney+, Loki was undoubtedly the most viewed by users. At least, this was indicated by the manager in the presentation of the results for advertisers.

The truth is, it’s no wonder it was Loki most-watched series on Disney+, as the Nielsen data, while not coming directly from the streaming service, already hinted that the adventures of the God of Deception were well received by users.

In fact, as stated in THRLoki had a total 5,230 million minutes watched since its premiere, an utterly impressive number when you consider that Loki arrived right at the start of last summer, and that the series with plenty of time behind them in the Disney+ catalog doesn’t reach similar numbers.

And combined, six live Lucasfilm performances (The Mandalorian D Boba Fett book) and Marvel Studios (WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki D Hawkeye) scored almost 36 billion minutes of views.

In fact, shows from both franchises comfortably stayed in the top 10 throughout their premiere, falling out of them only a few weeks after the season finale, when they racked up another few billion minutes watched.

Star Wars continues to beat Marvel

While Loki has been the most watched of all Marvel premieres, the truth is that the original content of his universe is still unknown. far from surpassing the biggest Star Wars hit of recent years: The Mandalorian. No Marvel series has surpassed any season mandalorian by total viewing time. Although Loki, as we said at the beginning, although Loki was quite close in June and July of last year.

According to Nielsen, The Mandalorian the series amassed 5.42 billion minutes of views in its seven weeks of airing and surpassed 1.15 billion minutes in the week the finale premiered.

The rest of the Disney+ series also have great numbers. Falcon and Winter Soldier second to Loki only 4.15 billion. Latest Marvel Series, Hawkeyethe total watch time during the broadcast was 3.46 billion minutes.

However, Star Wars continues to be seen on the stern: Boba Fett bookreached 4.4 billion minutes despite weak reviews, far higher than other more successful Marvel series on the surface.
