Splatoon 3Nintendo’s exclusive hold in September, supports the cloud save – unlike what happened in the second chapter – but with some limitations.

As reported by Nintendo’s US site, the cloud for storing data is only compatible with the offline game data by Splatoon 3. In other words, all game progress made in offline modes is stored in the cloud. It won’t be the same for all the progress being made online. This means that if a player were to switch consoles, or if he just wanted to play on multiple platforms, it would be impossible for him to do so with the multiplayer mode.

To stay on topic, Nintendo recently unveiled a new secondary weapon which will enrich the arsenal of Splatoon 3.

In Splatoon 3 we go to the discovery of Splattonia, a sunny desert inhabited by Inkling and Octoling veterans of a thousand battles. In this new chapter we will be able to use a whole host of new moves, paint guns, giant brushes and even robots to win games. There will be gods too grabs giving us more freedom of movement.

We remind you that Splatoon 3 will be available from September 9, 2022 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
