The Marine Meteorological Service of the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs, Dimar, warned through the Center for Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research (CIOH) of a rise in sea surface temperature in recent days, setting records of between 29.0 and 32.0 °C in connection with the weakening of trade winds over the Caribbean Sea, among other things, causing further warming on the Colombian Caribbean coast.
