Today, TCL unveiled its latest TVs, and during the event, journalists were able to get some amazing news. The company representative mentioned different generations of consoles, and the presentation mentioned the PS5 Pro and the new Xbox Series S/X.
If yesterday we told you that TCL had just unveiled its new line of P63 TVs, now the company is making a world premiere, indicating that a new generation is on the way. And much sooner than expected.
And although we usually hear rumors from various insiders in the sector, this is something we have never seen before, when an established brand at the official presentation speaks candidly about products that have not even been launched on the marketand they were not declared responsible persons.
As we can see in the photo published by PPE, TCL predicts that as early as 2023/2024 we will witness an international callconsole generation or 9.5, which will include the PlayStation 5 Pro and the new Xbox Series X|S.
The manufacturer mentions that the devices will run at 60/120 fps at 2160p (native 4K). and offer the ability to play content in 8K format. The presentation even mentioned AMD’s latest GPU: the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT, which was never shown.
It can be assumed that these are supposed plans, possible scenarios for TCL, but the situation is puzzling for a reason: 2023 has already featured in several rumors that are convinced that Sony and Microsoft are already developing the next consoles.
As a last resort, perhaps TCL made this presentation with marketing in mind, because they knew that it would attract a lot of press attention and make it to the covers., just now when they are introducing their new TVs. Time will tell who is right.
