The Last of Us Part 2 Documentary Already Has a Release Date

A couple of weeks ago we told you that The Last of Us Part 2one of the best video games of the last decade, will have documentary about its development. However, now we finally know its release date: February 2, 2024. The best part is that it will be completely free, as it will be available on the official Naughty Dog YouTube channel.

History is behind us Grounded II: The Making of The Last of Us, Part II This is quite interesting. It was launched when the game’s development began, but was subsequently left in limbo due to the pandemic. Since Naughty Dog employees had to move their work home, it no longer made sense to continue production.

However, the Californian studio managed to revive the project. They reconstructed previously recorded material and combined it with interviews conducted in the wake of the health crisis. Result? Content that no fan of the franchise can miss.

Documentary The Last of Us Part 2 It’s pretty special. Not only because it will show us what the daily life of developing such a complex game is like, but also because of the unexpected obstacles that Naughty Dog, like many other video game studios, had to overcome during the pandemic.

Premiere Grounded II: The Making of The Last of Us, Part IIis of course part of PlayStation’s efforts to promote the launch The Last of Us Part 2 Updatewhich was released just last week.

The remaster of the acclaimed game was received very positively. Not only the specialized press, but also the general public. However, the biggest innovations are not in the audiovisual section – improving the graphical help has been difficult. Rather, Naughty Dog has focused on improving and enriching the gameplay experience.

The Last of Us Part 2 Update includes, for example, new Survival mode, which essentially involves surviving waves of enemies. He also offers “Lost Levels”which are unreleased missions that for some reason were not in the original version of the game.

Of course it is exclusive to PlayStation 5. It can be purchased for 50 dollars/euro. However, if you already own a copy of the game in the PS4 version – physical or digital – all you need to do is pay. 10 dollars/euro to get remastered. Considering what it offers, it’s a pretty fair price…
