Nintendo Switch 2 is official. The Japanese company presented it with a surprise, albeit in a somewhat brief form. We have almost no specs or specific release date other than we know it’s coming out this year. However, Nintendo wants you to clear everything up before it hits the market and is going to run a series of experiments so you can try out the Nintendo Switch 2 before it launches.

Actually, It will take place in several cities around the world.including Madrid, so if you want to try it out early and find out more about all things Switch 2, save the date so you don’t miss out on seeing it in person.

Official dates vary for each city, so you’ll have to check the city closest to you. Unfortunately we will only have one meeting in Spain and it will be in Madrid so if you don’t live nearby you will have to wait for the market to arrive. Additionally, encounters are limited in number and you’ll have to get them from Nintendo’s website, although as usual they’ll be completely free.

How to get tickets to the Nintendo Switch 2 event in Madrid

If you want to know when you’ll be able to see the console in person, here’s a list of cities and their specific dates:

  • New York, April 4–6
  • Los Angeles, April 11–13.
  • Dallas, April 25–27
  • Toronto, April 25-27
  • Paris, April 4–6
  • London, 11–13 April
  • Milan, April 25-27
  • Berlin, April 25-27
  • Madrid, May 9–11
  • Amsterdam, May 9-11

To attend the Nintendo Switch 2 event, you will need to register on the Nintendo website. Registration for tickets opens on January 18 at 15:00. But don’t worry, you won’t have to wait in a virtual queue to get your ticket.

And tickets for the event will be distributed through a random lottery with free entry for all registered users, and you can essentially register at any time before the drawing to try your luck. But hurry up, registration closes January 26 at 23:59 (Peninsula time). The event will take place at the Chamartín Station Penthouse and you will only be able to register for one city event.

To register and enter the giveaway, you must be at least 18 years of age and have a Nintendo Account. If you register as a group, each group member must have a Nintendo Account associated with the same Nintendo Account family group. If anyone under the age of 16 wishes to attend the event, their parent or guardian can create a Nintendo Account on their behalf as part of their Nintendo Account family group.
