Yesterday, CD Projekt RED revealed its plans regarding the future of The Witcher and its upcoming projects. Through its social channels, the company pointed out that most of its upcoming titles will contain a multiplayer mode.

The tweet doesn’t mention any other information, but the general impression is that the team’s intention is to focus more on multiplayer, but rather introduce multiplayer components in support of the single player experience, without actually disrupting the nature of the project.

Yesterday, CD Projekt announced Project Sirius, one of two spin-offs that always take place in the same narrative universe already explored and developed by previous games. Molasses flood. The title has been described as “a game that offers multiplayer based gameplay next of a classic single player experience including story campaign and quests“.

Before we leave, let us remind you that Project Sirius is just one of many projects in the pipeline announced by CD Projekt yesterday. The list of new titles also includes a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, a new IP, the new The Witcher trilogy, and a second spin-off codenamed Canis Majoris.
