It looks like one nintendo wiithe console that was released way back in 2006, but don’t be fooled: this game console actually hides a powerful Macmini last generation. This cute meeting point between the world of game consoles and that of Apple products is the work of youtuber Mike Miami, who clearly documented his achievement with a video he uploaded to his channel.
The Mac Mini was opened and disassembled and so was the Nintendo Wii. Computer components, including the M1 processor, were then installed in the console. Oddly enough, Mik Miami managed to keep the console’s original HDMI port and power outlet.
Of course, the youtuber had to use some ingenuity. Some internal components have been sacrificed: the Mac’s fan and power supply, for example, required modification work. In this case: the power system has been replaced with a product designed for the Microsoft Surface.
Using a 3D printer, the youtuber made pieces of plastic – like some baffles and guides to house the components inside the Wii – to get an even cleaner result.
