MrBeast ended PewDiePie’s reign as YouTube’s most signed blogger, the first change at the top in almost a decade. Swedish creator PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, became the most subscribed YouTuber in August 2013.
Among his achievements is that in 2019 he became the first to reach 100 million followers on the Google platform, leaving El Rubius in second position far from the throne.
But hard work contests, almost unlimited money and the originality of MrBeastwhose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, made it reach 112 million subscribers this month. Surely his name sounds familiar to you, since we have already talked about him more than once.
Although YouTube does not show the exact numbers, in the screenshot we leave you here you can see that one has 112 million subscribers and the other has 111 million. This vague number may differ by only one follower (but we doubt it). Google will have the data.
How are you, Spanish YouTubers?
After we’ve seen what the top of the Google app is, we’re going to take a look at the five Spanish creators with the most followers at the time of this writing.
You certainly know who is number one (the Andorra trip controversy made him even more famous during the pandemic). Without delay, let’s take a look at them:
- elrubiusOMG with 40.4 million subscribers.
- vegeta777 with 33.6 million subscribers.
- Mikecrack with 32.9 million subscribers.
- Auronplay with 29.1 million subscribers.
- Eltrollino with 18 million subscribers.
It is curious that, despite the fact that El Rubius left YouTube (all his activities are now carried out on Twitch), he continues to occupy the first positions within the platform Google. His videos are the history of Spain, honestly, so the application should save them.
Compared to the Anglo-Saxon streamers inside YouTube, the Spanish community has a long way to go to get great links like MrBeast and PewDiePie. But on Twitch we dominate with an iron fist with Ibai, Auronplay or TheGrefg.
