Italian developer Smallthing Studios and publisher Leonardo Interactive have announced the arrival of Simon the Sorcerer Originsa point-and-click graphic adventure that is the prequel to the famous 1993 series. As you can see from trailerwhich you’ll find below, Origins will feature a more cartoonish graphical style and more modern gameplay, however, integrating all those traditional elements that made Simon’s adventures great.

Origins is set a few weeks before the events of the first game, which features Simon’s dog chippy inadvertently opening a portal after browsing an old spellbook. Thus begins a fantastic adventure for him, between problems and puzzles to solve, an ancient prophecy to fulfill, dangerous alchemical devices to decipher and powerful spells.

The game will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switchwith publication expected in the course of 2023
