Playground Games released the second major expansion for Forza Horizon 5 in March and takes us to explore the challenging terrain of Sierra Nueva. This DLC takes us to exciting rally races with vehicles specially designed to dominate any terrain, from dirt to asphalt and even challenging night races.

Available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PCForza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure offers a unique experience where you can navigate roads with unpredictable turns, steep slopes, blind hills and paved jumps.

Sierra Nueva not only offers exciting races, but also a variety of biomes to explore. From the abandoned town of Pueblo Artza to epic warp dunes, the meandering Desert Gorge, the rolling Green Hills and a stunning palm forest. Each location presents its own challenges and beauty, providing a unique rally experience.

To enable you to customize your rally vehicle before stepping up to Sierra Nueva, The latest update to Forza Horizon 5 introduced new tuning options. With brand new rally parts and body kits you will be able to create your own bespoke ‘rally monster’. Also, a new driving assist option has been added so you can master the tracks right out of the box.

‘Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure’ comes with performance trucks like the all-electric 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum, off-road cars like the Hoonigan Volkswagen Baja 1973 Beetle Class 5/1600 ‘Scumbug’ and the legendary Ford rally machine #4 Ford Focus RS from 2001.

The focus is the same, yes: racing. But the mechanics of the rally changes everything. Here, while the player is at full speed, the co-pilot announces that they will be on their way to anticipate difficult corners. The goal is to always go as fast as possible.

On the other hand, the terrain mix ensures that the strategy is in a constant state of flux. When you think you’ve mastered asphalt, you cross a river and then you give way to a swamp, completely changing the shit and behavior of the car.

Now, graphically, this expansion is faithful to the original title. The use of lights, dust particles and the complexity of the settings provide an extraordinary visual experience.
