Its main purpose was to conduct experiments on humans. The bunker was built in 1941 and was used until the end of the war.

In contrast, Detachment 731 began its work as early as 1931 and conducted biological and chemical experiments on prisoners of various nationalities.

The opening of the bunker highlights the legacy of the “Death Squad” and its impact on efforts to prevent biological warfare. As a result of the platoon experiments, up to 12,000 people died.

All of them were severely tortured and killed. Including the use of explosive devices, chemical and biological weapons, as well as other methods of torture such as dehydration, vivisection without anesthesia, and experiments with radiation.
