As a result, the vendor’s specialists found 101 apps in the Google digital store infected with the SpinOK module, designed to keep the user in apps that use minigames advertised in short videos. In total, these apps have been downloaded 421 million times.

SpinOK is dangerous because it can find files with a certain extension in target directories. The program can change the contents of the clipboard and take readings from some smartphone sensors, especially a gyroscope or magnetometer. All data received by the virus is transmitted to the operator’s server.
