Xiaomi today (24) unveiled the company’s new smart wristband, Mi Band 7, and has already opened the pre-sale of the product in China, the first country to receive the accessory. The new version, made in partnership with Huami, has improvements such as a 25% larger screen and oximeter.

Mi Band 7 features include screen 1.62 inch AMOLED, 50 meters water resistant design, plus NFC and GPS support in its most complete version. The wristband system, which works in conjunction with the mobile phone, includes screens and sensors that show weather and body information, as well as 100 sports modes. blood oxygen measurement.

One of the innovations in the “smart” part of the bracelet is the alarm. Mi Band 7 has a smart system that can wake the user before the alarm clock if the data captured by the accessory indicates light sleep.

Among the changes that should please the public, Mi Band 7 also has a larger battery than the previous model in the series. There is a new smartband 180mAh power supplyenough to guarantee up to two weeks of use without refilling.

Price

Xiaomi’s presentation today focused on the Chinese market. With that in mind, Mi Band 7 may come to more countries without some features.

In addition to the version with NFC and GPS, the smart bracelet also has a version without extra features, which is available at a more affordable price. The trend is for the modest version of the wearable to be the most popular worldwide, eventually reaching Brazil.

Regarding prices, Mi Band 7 should cover the market cost 279 yuan in NFC edition, approximately R$ 200 in direct conversion. The cheapest version costs 230 yuan, about R$160.

The smart bracelet is already on pre-sale in China and official marketing launch is scheduled for today (24). But there is no release date yet for wearables in Brazil.
