Discoveries of the Week 7

This feature is very popular among users. On a weekly basis, depending on what you’re listening to, Spotify develops playlists just for you. So, you have access to at least 30 new tracks every Monday.

These could be songs from artists you already follow and haven’t heard of yet, songs from your favorite genres, or new compositions you might like.

Usually, the week’s discoveries are found directly in the app’s interface, but if you want, search for the playlist with the same name in the search bar.

6. Broadcast Radar

Almost every day, artists around the world release new music. Whether it’s a single, a remix, or a full album, the truth is, isn’t it hard to keep up with so much news, even from the artists you follow?

That’s why Spotify Broadcast Radar, a playlist full of releases. The idea is to include all the tracks released in the last few days from artists you’ve listened to at least or once in the app, or artists you follow and follow.

5. Spotify Radio

After listening to an entire album or even a playlist, Spotify will start playing recommendations based on your tastes, just because its algorithm can make impressive recommendations.

From there you enter Spotify Radio and listen to new songs, even those saved in your library. When you tap the plus button in the left corner, the songs recommended for you are saved immediately.

4. Daily Mix

Just as there are weekly discoveries, the app also develops daily recommendations for you. Daily Mix automatically creates playlists organized by genre and songs you already know.

But news is added in the middle of this or that song. You can always choose your Daily Mix, which changes daily as the algorithm runs.

This way, you listen to the music you already love and you can still discover countless new songs. If you can’t find your Daily Mix directly in the interface, feel free to search for it in the search bar.

3. What do you want to hear?

This feature is pretty simple. We know that Spotify has a search bar for users to instantly search for albums, artists, songs, podcasts and other users.

However, when you click on that search bar before typing anything, a new page opens. In it, the application displays a series of frames that can be explored.

In them it is possible to browse by music genre, publications, artists and themes. Here are a few playlists already created, including playlists with soundtracks for studying, cleaning, among others.

2. Emotions Playlists

Often all we need is new songs to collect what we’re feeling. That’s why Spotify creates playlists based on countless emotions to help you feel comfortable in moments of sadness, suffering, anxiety, joy, passion, and fear.

To find them, simply type the name of an emotion in the search bar. In the example above, “Sad Mix” found playlists with songs for sad moments. Have fun!

Finally, it should be said that Spotify itself has an active profile within its application. Actually, stream has some interesting profiles with ready-made playlists can be used at any time.

Use the search bar to navigate and type Spotify. Then filter the search by “Profile”. So only profiles with the name Spotify will appear. Click on any of them, search for public playlists and have fun – most of the app’s playlists are collected here.
