Android 14 should get a native tool to assess battery health from mobile phones and tablets. The possible innovation was found in the Battery Manager application programming interfaces (APIs) added by Google to the beta version of the operating system.
According to user Mishal Rahman, two common interfaces can be used to get data on battery cycle count and state of charge. Meanwhile, the remaining APIs report other details, including the fragment’s health.
The expert explains that any application with the “BATTERY_STATS” permission can access the new APIs of the mobile system. However, these skins are only available on Google Pixel phones running the second version of Android 14 Beta or higher.
Seems like, pseudo native android feature will look similar to function Battery Health from iOS. In it, iPhone owners can check the details about the maximum capacity, maximum performance and health of the power component.

Created by developer Narek, the Batt app uses new APIs to get details about battery health and device charge cycles. However, the software is only available on phones running Android 14 Beta.
According to this GSMArena, app data is not that accurate. This is because statistics are generated by information tracked by other APIs that do not support the feature in some cases.
Anyway, the suggestion is to wait for Google to add the native battery health tool to the stable version of Android 14. The estimation is that the operating system will be available to Google Pixel owners between August and September 2023.
