We are talking about drugs that are not drugs in nature, but worsen the reaction of a person.

The proposed amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation are aimed at closing the existing legal gap. The new rules will make it possible to prosecute drivers who are in a state of drug intoxication.

Currently, current regulations do not provide liability for drivers using drugs that are not narcotic or psychotropic but may impair attention and response.

The proposed changes also provide for the addition of a section to the medical examination procedure, which regulates the procedure for determining the fact of use of such drugs.

Recall a little earlier that the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation declared that traffic legislation prohibits drivers from driving in any state of intoxication, regardless of the cause of such drunkenness, including the use of approved drugs.
